Introduction to ShipMagic

ShipMagic App is your one stop solution for managing your shipping rates in Shopify. You can use ShipMagic to - 

1. Create custom shipping rates using 25+ product, cart and customer parameters which are not possible in Shopify natively.
2. Conditionally hide, rename or rearrange your existing shipping rates that you have setup natively in Shopify.

Shipping Rates are used to create custom shipping rates using 25+ product, cart and customer parameters which are not possible in Shopify natively. For example, you can do the following with Shipping Rates -

• Create percentage based shipping rates
• Charge shipping rate per item
• Zipcode / Postcode based shipping rates
• Assign different package sizes to different items while calculating live carrier rates
• Avoid doubling of shipping rates when items from multiple locations / shipping profiles are being shippied
• And much more..

Please note that you need to have Third Party Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS) enabled on your store in order for Shipping Rates to work. 

Shipping customizations are used to hide, rename or rearrange your existing shipping rates that you have setup natively in Shopify. Some example use-cases are -

• Zipcode / Postcode based shipping rates
• Free shipping only for specific customers
• Only Ground Shipping when cart contains a bulky product
• Change shipping rate name for certain areas
• And many more..

Shipping Customizations DO NOT require Third Party Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS) to work. However, Shipping Customization do not work on draft orders.
